Idaho Strategic Resources, Inc. (NYSE:IDR) owns an impressive land position with over 18,000 acres of carbonatite-related critical minerals, dominated by monazite – hosted in veins and replacement zones.
Across their 70-mile swath of claims which includes the Lemhi Pass, Diamond Creek and Mineral Hill projects, there is evidence of Nd-enriched, low-Th, and elevated dysprosium monazite. Other critical minerals in these rocks (and weathered sediments) include Ilmenite (titanium), niobium containing rutile, barite, and of course rare earths.
IDR is already an established miner in Idaho with their gold and silver mine near Coeur d’Alene.
Through a partnership with the Idaho National Laboratory IDR is looking to develop these deposits to further reduce the USA’s dependence on other countries for critical minerals important to our defense and green energy programs.
